The wind whispers through our chimney into our open fire place, occasionally enchanted by a chirping bird whispering into our space. We are in our eighth week in "The Sourcery", a temporary living experiment amongst three Sourceresses including myself. It is an incubation cell to birth our North Island Next Culture Village from the not knowing, from within ourselves, and in the dark time of the year here in the Southern hemisphere. With this News for Life I am sending whispers of our legends lived, and experiments woven, out our chimney your way. May they inspire you to live full out with consciousness in action.
One of our "rocks in the river of time" at the Sourcery is a "Sourceress breakfast". It helps give our being together a rhythm, along which the energy can flow. From our first breakfast, it became clear that it was not about food. Sourkraut and peanut butter half-heartedly made it to the table and were left untouched as we used tissues and a bucket instead. These are the tools for transformational spaces, in which tears may flow and the unspoken can tumble out uncensored. Sourceress breakfast is our space for checking in with each other, finding new bits and pieces, hearing each other and ourselves speak from the unknown.
Connecting with high level fun
This past month has also seen us gather with other wizards and sourceresses for dinner, as well as opening the doors for Intimacy Café: a space for honesty, vulnerability, joy of creating, dangerous questions, and more. Our weekly in-person Possibility Team has brought forth some wild experiments, such as creating from the nothing and cooking and dining together blindfolded.
Creative spaces
We followed a wizard's invitation to create sacred geometry at the beach in Piha together, honouring the Māori New Year Matariki and feeding the energetic field. We made a fire for Solstice in our small garden, burning old papers and stoking the fire of transformation. Millicent learned a different kind of sword work: knitting with swords (the result is a big spider web!).
More than a whisper, you may hear the ROAR of women knock you off your feet that came together for our "Reclaiming your Warrioress" afternoon at The Combat Centre ten days ago. While anger was the door opener, it allowed for sadness and fear to tumble out at their own pace. We're so inspired by that space that we keep going, with the next one coming up this Sunday.
And more
I finally went to the Zoo and did the experiment from S.P.A.R.K. 054, and I realised immediately: "people are primates". I recommend you do the experiment yourself.
My first Sadness Club started last week and I am amazed at the Beauty and Power of Sadness, when the space is there for it to be witnessed. It's a real edge for me, too.
I am learning to radically rely on my team as I am preparing for an Expand the Box Training: Unfold your Being up North in Kerikeri. I love what unfolds already when I let go of doing it alone.
Apart from radically relating at The Sourcery, I am also experimenting with radically relating in intimate relationship. I am astonished at the aliveness that comes from that. My experience and quest leads to the next offering, a co-creation with a fellow Trainer from Germany.
Everything emerges from nothing
I very much sense my need to honour this time of the year, the slowing down and connecting to Earth, to the darkness, to letting things brew and germinate. So much can bubble up from there when I am connected to the Source of my Being, to that which I love creating.
I am looking forward to co-creating with you.
